i have thi problem

ERROR: couldn't set your static IP or your external gateway
If you don't use PPPoE, please check your configuration.

Does your provider use PPPoE ? Your EciAdsl settings must be set according to your provider's requirements.

tap0 is interface created by eciadsl-start. Then you have to setup your PPPoE client to use this interface (instead of default eth0).

It's EciAdsl setup file, in /etc/eciadsl, called eciadsl.conf.

Last night I at last that could connect to Avangard through eciadsl.
I used last version of the driver with http: // debian.flashtux.org/and 20 synch file.
tap0 appears only after the third start eciadsl-start.
rp-pppoe connects from 3-4 attempts.
But when all connects works stably!
