hi

i have installed eciadsl-usermode_0.12-1_i386.deb

i have this error:


eciadsl-start

[EciAdsl 1/5] Setting up USB support...

FATAL: Module usbcore not found.
Preliminary USB device filesystem is missing... trying to mount
Preliminary USB device filesystem: failed to load
/usr/bin/eciadsl-start: line 263: fatal: command not found
cat: /proc/bus/usb/devices: No such file or directory
Warning: tun/tap module does not exist

[EciAdsl 2/5] Uploading firmware...

grep: /proc/bus/usb/devices: No such file or directory
grep: /proc/bus/usb/devices: No such file or directory
ERROR: modem not found

please help me! :(

I don't have modem any more (since 2004), and I'm not using any more driver. So I can't help any more with driver, especially with recent linux distributions.

You should really consider using an ethernet modem, which is really better (no driver required) ;)
